Welcome back to the weekly Top 10 list. Each week we come up with a topic, go create our separate lists, and then come together to create a top 10 consensus. This week with Valentines Day coming up, we decided to look back at the best relationships in film and count the top 10 best On Screen couples. There have been so many great couples in film that have been remembered throughout generations. So, without further wait, here are the Top 10 On Screen Couples.

10. Ansel Elgort and Shailene Woodley

Starting off the list we have a couple that made audiences cry in A Fault in Our Stars. Woodley and Elgort were perfect with each other and helped bring some light to an otherwise darker movie. It was a heavy subject to watch, but Woodley and Elgort were great to see and made you happy. This is one of the best Young Adult movies ever.

9. Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet

At number nine we have two people whose best days on screen are behind them but have had a great career in Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet. Winslet still has a career, but Carrey has really disappeared. However, they were great together in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. This movie was heartbreaking and made you wonder what you would do in that situation. Relationships are tricky, but these two gave us an interesting take on one.

8. Richard Gere and Julia Roberts

Coming in at number eight we have an older couple that were the stars of their day in Richard Gere and Julia Roberts. They were in a couple movies together, but their most well known was in Pretty Woman. The classic romantic comedy that still lives on today. This movie doesn’t fail to be entertaining and these two are lovely together. They seemed like a real couple.

7. Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence

At number seven we have a newer couple in Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence. They have also been in many movies together, but their most notable is Silver Linings Playbook. Their chemistry was amazing here as two damaged individuals. These two were nominated for awards for their performances and carried that connection to other films such as American Hustle and Serena. They work very well together.

6. Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone

Just missing the top five, we have a former real-life couple in Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone. Their relationship translated to the screen beautifully in The Amazing Spiderman 1 and 2. These movies were not the best, especially the second one, but their love for each other was the best thing about these films. It’s too bad that the films they were in together were not better, but we get what we can.

5. Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan

Starting off the top five we have Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan. These two teamed up for three different films with each other and their love took America’s hearts. They were the perfect couple in the movies, and the films they were in were elevated by their performances. Today, Tom Hanks is still considered one of the greatest actors ever, and Meg Ryan his best on screen relationship. They will forever live on as a great couple.

4. Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams

Next up on our list is a classic couple in Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams. They teamed up with each other in The Notebook and from there, it’s history. This is the go to chick flick that made teenage girls everywhere fall in love with Ryan Gosling. Ask most girls what their favorite movie is, and this is most likely their answer. If you want a good cry, this is the right choice.

3. Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher

At number three, we have what might be the most iconic couple yet in Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher. From the most popular franchise ever, Star Wars, they established themselves as the perfect couple. They even had a relationship off screen, which just recently came out. They even have an iconic phrase in “I Love You” “I Know”. It was beautiful to watch and span over generations.

2. Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet

Just missing the top spot, we have Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. Their story in the film Titanic went on to be adored by audiences all over who went to see the film over and over again. Their love was tragic but was a journey to watch. Whenever you hear that Celine Dion song, this is who you think of. This is what puts them at number two on our list.

1. Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone

At the top spot, we have our favorite on screen couple in Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling. Both of them have already made appearances on this list, but they found love together at number one. They made us fall in love with them in Crazy Stupid Love and carried that chemistry on from there. Then in La La Land, we got to see their love blossom. They are the perfect couple and it is a shame they are not together in real life. I look forward to seeing if they work together again.
