Tonight is a back to back game for your Miami Heat against the Philadelphia 76ers who are looking to get revenge after losing to the Heat a few games back. First let’s talk about yesterday game – it was a back and forth battle against the Nets who could not miss. Unfortunately for the Heat, shots kept going in and out and it was just driving me crazy watching it, but we got the win behind Rodney Mcgruder’s incredible game and hustle. It’s awesome to see someone like Mcgruder and Johnson who are players that give it their all perform amazing at the highest level. Whiteside didn’t play much because he didn’t have an answer for Brook Lopez who was killing us early in the game, but at least Whiteside is rested for tonight’s game. Our defense helped us win last night game and we need to keep that momentum going. We also need to start the same way we started against Brooklyn which was start fast and attack doesn’t matter if we miss just keep attacking the basket. Dion Waiters isn’t playing again, but not to worry Super Mcgruder is here. The Heat definitely need him to step up but if he doesn’t I know Tyler Johnson or Wayne Ellington will. I’m very happy to know that even when the Heat are down and things are not going their way they can go to the locker room regroup and come out the second half strong and not willing to surrender. On a night where the Knicks and Nets both had home games the Heat were the most popular team, the Brooklyn crowd was chanting Let’s Go Heat several times during the game that I started to do it from my bed. It’s great to see the Heat on this run they are having and I hope we keep it going for as long as we can.
