Los Angeles Dodgers

If the Dodgers are to have any shot taking the West over the champs or the Rockies, they are going to have to pick it up on the offensive side of the ball. Stars Matt Kemp and Andre Ethier were well on their way to having MVP caliber seasons in early 2010. All of a sudden Andre Ethier injured his thumb and missed a huge chunk of time and Matt Kemp started dating Rianna, and the their offense and their season went down the drain. LA’s pitching looks to be improved with the underrated signing of innings eater Ted Lilly. He will man the 3rd spot in Dodgers rotation behind underachiever Chad Billingsley and future Cy Young contender Clayton Kershaw. The Dodgers decided to part ways with oft injured catcher Russell Martin and replaced him with Rod Barajas. They also added Marcus Thames and PED performer Jay Gibbons. Look for the Dodgers to surprise early but ultimately they are playing for third place.
