-ZombiU, previously a WiiU exclusive, is now set to release on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. No, the game will not be called ZombiU on these other consoles, and will instead be known simply as Zombi. The game will have to undergo some significant changes considering its previous reliance on the WiiU Gamepad as an in-game tool, but don’t expect a completely different game. If you already played ZombiU on the WiiU, I don’t recommend picking it up again on any of these other systems. The ports are set to launch on August 18 digitally.

-According to Bethesda, Fallout 4 is “basically done”. The good news? Well, a game that is supposedly “done” isn’t likely to get delayed, so you can keep on looking forward to November 10 because I don’t see that release date changing. The bad news? All those features that fans have asked for since learning about the game at E3 are not going to be implemented because it’s just too late. Apparently, the game has been finished since even before E3, so all that’s being done to the game now is just making sure it works and releases with as few bugs as possible.

-The recent release of Microsoft’s and Sony’s financial reports shows that the PS4 has sold more than double the amount of units when compared to the Xbox One and Xbox 360 combined sales during the first financial quarter of the year. Between the months of April and June of this year, 3 million PS4s have been sold while 1.4 million Xbox consoles have been sold, which includes both the 360 and the Xbox One. PlayStation Vita sales were not disclosed, but I can assure you that it was at least one because I happened to buy mine during this time period. I’m not completely convinced that I wasn’t the only one who did though.

-It seems that PlayStation Plus subscribers will now have the opportunity to vote on which games they would like to be made free for the upcoming month. In case you are not familiar with this feature, if you are subscribed to PlayStation Plus, each month six games for Sony’s systems (PS4, PS3, and PS Vita) are made free for current Plus members. The voting feature will only affect the PlayStation 4 however, and the three games you will be able to choose from seem to be Armello, Grow Home, and Zombie Vikings. Voting is not open yet and it’s still unclear when it will officially open due the fact that all this information comes as a leak and hasn’t been officially disclosed by Sony yet.

-Mafia 3 was officially revealed by 2K games this week. The game has been rumored to be in development for years now, but it was always assumed that the studio behind Mafia 2 would be the ones working on the next installment in the franchise. However, with this reveal we learned that this was not true. A new studio by the name of Hangar 13 is working on the game, but they promise to stay true to what makes the franchise so special to its many fans. The game’s worldwide reveal, which will likely include a trailer and/or gameplay, will take place next week at Gamescom.
