Guardian of the Galaxy Vol. 2

Set to the all-new sonic backdrop of Awesome Mixtape #2, Marvel Studios’ “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” continues the team’s adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mystery of Peter Quill’s true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes’ aid as the Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to expand.

Scott’s Take

After watching the first 10-15 minutes of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, I was worried that the film was going to be an epic letdown. Thankfully, the following two hours are filled with pure, unbridled fun. Is Vol.2 better than the original? Nope. But the first film, at least to me was our modern day Star Wars. That being said, Vol. 2 is TONS of fun with a kick ass soundtrack. (4 stars out of 5 stars)

Steve’s Take

You know, I didn’t even want to see the first Guardians movie. It was a last minute decision to go to that screening and I have to say I made the right call. A lot of people are saying that they enjoyed this one even more than the first one. That’s a stretch for me, but I thoroughly enjoyed the 2nd one in the series. I’ll be seeing it again just as soon as I can. 4 out of 5 stars.

Next Week

Get ready to wait in line, and for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, it’s well worth the wait. Next week we have King Arthur: Legend of the Sword and Snatched with the “Love her or Hate her” Amy Schumer. Have a great weekend.

I felt the same way I really didn’t think I wanted to see vol2 after watching the first one. The game changer for me was baby groot I couldn’t resist. So there I was focusing on baby groot the whole time lol but I must say vol 2 was waaaaayyy better when baby groot was not on the scene it was funny and I didn’t know if drax was serious or not I guess he was which was really funny I thoughly enjoyed every minute of the movie beginning to the end.
