It’s (just about) GAMETIME, and I thought I’d chime in with my favorite Super Bowl games. I won’t lie, I haven’t seen them all. In fact, the first one I can remember seeing was a 55-10 win by the 49ers over the Broncos, so who knows why I even kept on watching. But, alas, I did, and I’ve been entertained and drained, amused and refused, whined and dined. here are my Top 5 Super Bowls from when I started watching until now.

In no particular order:

Super Bowl 47: Ravens 34 49ers 31

Brother vs Brother. Power outage. Massive comeback. Crabtree instead of Gore.

Super Bowl 32: Broncos 31 Packers 24

Not just because Elway got his, cementing himself as one of the greatest ever, but because of the dive.

Super Bowl 43: Steelers 27 Cardinals 23

It took me years to get over this one, but it is a classic. It also had two of the greatest plays in NFL history.

Super 25: Giants 20 Bills 19

Wide Right.

Super Bowl 49: Patriots 28 Seahawks 24

Another end of the game play that will forever be critiqued.

I have read and heard that Super Bowl 13 is magnificent in that it featured the two best teams in all of football by far and some big time plays. Super Bowl 3 had Joe Namath being Joe Namath. Super Bowl 23 had The Catch. And I’m sure others were just as memorable. Readers, which are your favorites?
