Hey all, Steve here with your weekend Box Office Results. After 4 weeks in the top spot, Rogue One takes a pretty steep fall. Great run for Star Wars, but now we’ve got a new number 1 film! Let’s get to it!

1. Hidden Figures

Budget – $25 million

This Weekend – $20.5 million

Total – $54.8 million

After its initial limited release, this bad boy is finally in enough theaters to grab the top spot. Well deserved, but let’s see if it can hold off La La Land next weekend.

2. La La Land

Budget – $30 million

This Weekend – $14.5 million

Total – $74.1 million

It feels like La La Land is just gaining more and more steam. The Golden Globes certainly helped as well as the fact that as a team, the CST family has seen it 20 times. If you haven’t seen it yet I’m not sure what you’re waiting for. Steve hates musicals, but he loved this one.

3. Sing

Budget – $75 million

This Weekend – $13.8 million

Total – $233 million

Writing the same thing as last week for this one – still haven’t gotten around to seeing this one with my son. Have any of you seen it? Let me know.

4. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

Budget – $200 million

This Weekend – $13.8 million

Total – $498.9 million

Nothing else to say about this one. Annnnd that’s all I’ve got to say.

5. The Bye Bye Man

Budget – $7.4 million

This Weekend – $13.4 million

Total – $13.4 million

Are you kidding me?? What are you guys doing? Did you not read my review? You guys let this piece of crap movie beat out Patriots Day. I’ll need some time after this one. I’ll recharge my batteries and I will be fine. Here is my review one more time so nobody else makes the mistake.

That’s all for this weekend. Next weekend we will have Split and xXx: The Return of Xander Cage. Have a great week!
