Hey all – Steve here. I’m warning you now that I am in no mood for chit-chat today. My Giants are down 48-10 and…well, you know what? I don’t have to explain myself to you. I still love you guys, but I need to recharge my batteries. Take a look at the Top 5. Nothing surprising here unless you’ve been living under a rock this weekend. It’s go time.

1. Thor: Ragnarok

Budget – $180 million

This Weekend – $121 million

Domestic Total – $121 million

Worldwide Total – $427 million

Just a great entry in the Thor series. It is full of comedy and action and I understand that some of you are waiting for the crowds to die down, but don’t wait too long on this one. You can’t stay away from spoilers forever.

2. A Bad Moms Christmas

Budget – $28 million

This Weekend – $17 million

Domestic Total – $21.6 million

Worldwide Total – $28.2 million

Not as good as the original, but fans of the first should still enjoy this one. Be prepared for some over the top shenanigans as well as some predictable moments. I still don’t think Kathryn Hahn is funny, but I’m sure some of you guys do.

3. Jigsaw

Budget – $10 million

This Weekend – $6.7 million

Domestic Total – $28.8 million

Worldwide Total – $59.5 million

There really is no reason for these guys to stop making these movies. They are cheap to make and bring in a ton of extra cash.

4. Tyler Perry’s Boo2! A Madea Halloween

Budget – $25 million

This Weekend – $4.7 million

Domestic Total – $43 million

Worldwide Total – $43.3 million

5. Geostorm

Budget – $120 million

This Weekend – $3 million

Domestic Total – $28.8 million

Worldwide Total – $182.4 million

What a domestic bust…

Wrap-up

That’ll do it. Thor is the easy winner this weekend and A Bad Moms Christmas picks up some nice alternative viewing. Next week we will have Daddy’s Home 2 and Murder on the Orient Express. Have a great week, people!
