Hey all – Steve here. Time for some more results from the weekend at the Box Office. Once again, this week there will be no surprise winner. There are a couple of new entries into the Top 5, but they got the beat down as well and their gross totals were held down by a certain member of the Marvel community. Let’s get to it!

1. Black Panther

Budget – $200 million

This Weekend – $108 million

Domestic Total – $400 million

Worldwide Total – $704 million

I literally just told you that there was no surprise so for those of you in any type of shock right now, just stop reading now. Black Panther is sizzling right now to the tune of $704 million worldwide. It is unbelievable. If you haven’t seen it yet, I just don’t know what you’re doing with your life. Seriously, it’s 2 hours and 15 min of your day. If you cared, you would make time to see it.

2. Game Night

Budget – $37 million

This Weekend – $16.6 million

Domestic Total – $16.6 million

Worldwide Total – $21.8 million

Now, if you’ve already seen Black Panther, then I am perfectly fine with you having seen Game Night this weekend. It is hilarious and if you need a laugh, this one will give you a damn laugh. Here are a couple of reviews from the site.

Nothing more to say about this one. It is doing pretty good with the audience it is intended for.

4. Annihilation

Budget – $40 million

This Weekend – $17.3 million

Domestic Total – $48.2 million

Worldwide Total – $48.2 million

I have not had the opportunity to see this one yet, but the staff is loving it. Reviews to come.

5. Fifty Shades Freed

Budget – $55 million

This Weekend – $6. million

Domestic Total – $89.6 million

Worldwide Total – $320.4 million

Damn it. I thought you guys would have had this out of the Top 5 by now. Well at least it is still under $100 million here in the states. A few less people seeing this one and I could have had Jumanji in this spot. Thanks, everyone.

Wrap-up

That’ll do it for this weekend. Back to back for Black Panther. Next week we have Death Wish and Red Sparrow hitting theaters and I better not see Fifty Shades in this top 5 again…ever. Have a great week everyone!
