Hey all – Steve here. I’m a little late with this edition of the Box Office Results, but like I always say – better late than never. As I type this up, I am watching Private Parts (for the 78th time) on Netflix. How great was Private Parts? Can you believe that next year will be the 20th anniversary of when it was released? Neither can I – getting older and older! Here we go!

1. Deadpool

This Weekend – $56.5 million

Total – $236.9 million

There is absolutely nothing not to love about Deadpool. If you didn’t like Deadpool then I don’t want to know you. It is now up to nearly $500 million world wide. Keep it going!

2. Kung Fu Panda 3

This Weekend – $12.5 million

Total – $117.1 million

Obviously a huge drop-off between 1st and 2nd place this week. My son saw this weeks ago and is still talking about it, so this one will be a bluray purchase when the time comes.

3. Risen

This Weekend – $11.8 million

Total – $11.8 million

Not a bad showing for a religious movie.

4. The Witch

This Weekend – $8.8 million

Total – $8.8 million

This one currently sits at 88% on Rotten Tomatoes – so what? I missed the screening for this one, but I have heard nothing but bad things about it. I’ve heard those things from not only people that I actually know that have seen it, but also the entire audience of The Elvis Duran Show.

5. How to Be Single

This Weekend – $8.2 million

Total – $31.7 million

A middle of the road comedy that is languishing between spots 3 through 5. This could be its last ride in the top 5.

That’s all for this weekend people! We’ve got a couple of so-so releases coming up next weekend, so this list may not change all that much. Have a great week everyone!
