Back to back Champ for Wonder Woman and it now has made over $200 million domestically and over $430 million worldwide. Not bad, eh? Ok, that was way too Canadian. No offense to all you Canadians reading this.

Well, perhaps this one suffered just a bit from its 17% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Yes, 45% of audience members liked it, but as Scott would like to say that is a pretty crappy score for audiences. I missed the screening for this one, but I have heard nothing but negative things about it and a mixed bag from those that attended those screenings. Either way you slice it, this one wasn’t wrapped up in success opening weekend and it is only downhill from here. Oh and just in case you missed them, here is the review from our Orlando writer, Gisell:

3. Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie

Budget – $38 million

This Weekend – $12.3 million

Domestic Total – $44.6 million

Worldwide Total – $45.4 million

Guess this one doesn’t have much of an international flavor just yet. We spoke about this ones relatively low budget for an animated film and it has now surpassed that budget. Not bad for the latest flick for the kiddos.

4. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales

Budget – $230 million

This Weekend – $10.7 million

Domestic Total – $135.8 million

Worldwide Total – $528.7 million

This one has been a bomb domestically, but because of its reach into the international world, it is doing quite well.

5. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

Budget – $200 million

This Weekend – $6.2 million

Domestic Total – $366.4 million

Worldwide Total – $828.3 million

Not much more to say about this one. It has now been in the Top 5 for 6 straight weeks and it is about to start winding down. Next week we have 4 new releases so there is every chance that this 6 week streak comes to an end.

That’s all for this weekend. Next week we have 47 Meters Down, All Eyez on Me, Cars 3 and Rough Night hitting theaters so next weekend should bring a huge shake-up to the Top 5.
