Hey all – Steve here. It’s day 14,342 of this coronavirus situation. I’ve regrown all my hair, Knicks have won the NBA Championship, and Scott no longer thinks he is right all the time. Ok, none of that has happened, but we need to keep our sense of humor through all of this, right? The only thing hitting theaters tomorrow is May and with a new month comes new options to stream on the small screen. Let’s get to it.

Coming to Netflix
Available May 1
Ace Ventura: Pet Detective – A cult classic – you all better have seen this one.
All Day and a Night – Netflix Film – A radio guy trying to get through life while having to deal with his ex-wife and kids – sounds like fun! It HAS to be better than The Tiger King. Count me in.
Almost Happy – Netflix Original
Back to the Future – Arguably the best trilogy ever made – relax Star Wars fans – I said arguably.
Back to the Future Part II – See previous comment.

The Half Of It – Netflix Film
Hollywood – Netflix Original – A little Ryan Murphy, post-WWII Hollywood, and a nice little cast and you’d think you would have a nice little mini-series here from Netflix. Rotten Tomatoes doesn’t seem to agree as it currently sits at 56%, but the question is…will YOU be watching? I will be. Here is the trailer if you haven’t seen it yet.
I Am Divine
Into the Night – Netflix Original
Jarhead – Gyllenhaal was good in this one, but the flick itself was just so-so. If you are a fan of Gyllenhaal then you’ve probably already seen it. If not, check it out – you might like it slightly more than you would have without him.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button – Not a fan of this one the first and only time I saw it – maybe I should see more movies.
The Heartbreak Kid – One of my wife’s favorite flicks. Not because it’s a good movie, because clearly it is not. My wife is a singer – she connects with this one.
The Patriot – There are some people that can’t stand to watch Mel Gibson flick because they just don’t like him. I get it. If you are not one of those people and you haven’t seen The Patriot, you should get on it right now. Not promising that you’ll like it, but it’ll give you something to do.
Thomas & Friends: Marvelous Machinery: A New Arrival
Thomas & Friends: Marvelous Machinery: World of Tomorrow
Thomas & Friends: Thomas and the Royal Engine
