Hey guys. Scott here. Jurassic Park was one of the definitive film going experiences I have ever had in my life. There are few “event” movies that live up to the hype surrounding them. Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park was a game changer, something we had never, ever seen on film. Let’s fast forward to 2001. Jurassic Park 3 was one of the laziest and most disappointing third entries to a franchise since Jaw 3. I have been hearing about Jurassic World for a few years now. While most of it was conjecture and straight from the rumor mill, it all started to pull together last year and I couldn’t have cared less about it. Until today. I love the trailer for Jurassic World. It doesn’t give too much away and I love the fact that we are dealing with genetically enhanced dinosaurs on the loose in a theme park with thousands of people instead of a handful. The stakes have been raised. Throw in the new stardom of Chris Pratt and the nostalgic homage to the originals soundtrack and Jurassic World might just have a shot at being good. What do you all think?
