Hey all – Steve here. Time for another Box Office Top 5. FINALLY. That’s all I will say. Let’s get to it.

1. Pacific Rim Uprising

Budget – $150 million

This Weekend – $28 million

Domestic Total – $28 million

Worldwide Total – $151 billion

Well, I wanted Tomb Raider to be the one mostly because I love Alicia Vikander. That was not to be and now this really bad movie takes over the top spot and is the one to beat Black Panther. Whatever.

2. Black Panther

Budget – $200 million

This Weekend – $17 million

Domestic Total – $631 million

Worldwide Total – $1.2 billion

I’m done.

3. I Can Only Imagine

Budget – $7 million

This Weekend – $14 million

Domestic Total – $38 million

Worldwide Total – $38 million

This one is still at #3 and I still know nothing about it except that it is at 67% on Rotten Tomatoes. It looks like an absolute snooze-fest.

4. Sherlock Gnomes

Budget – $59 million

This Weekend – $11 million

Domestic Total – $11 million

Worldwide Total – $15 million

Absolutely did not see this one and will not unless my son asks me to. Nobody try to contact him and ruin my life. Thanks.

5. Tomb Raider

Budget – $94 million

This Weekend – $10 million

Domestic Total – $42 million

Worldwide Total – $212 million

My girl falls to #5 this week, but at $212 worldwide it is not all that bad.

Wrap-up

That’s all for this weekend. Next weekend we will be talking about Ready Player One, which comes out on Wednesday. We also have God’s Not Dead: A Light in Darkness and Tyler Perry’s Acrimony hitting in a smaller number of theaters Friday. Have a great week everyone!
